Tuck into Tennerfest! In 1997, the idea of creating a menu for a ten pound note, and running these menus for a few set weeks in the Autumn was launched. Since then, Tennerfest has grown into what it is now – a Channel Islands-wide celebration of the best of produce, the freshest of ingredients, the finest of locally sourced dishes and the perfect excuse to sample as many of Jersey and Guernsey’s bistros and restaurants as take your fancy. And all starting from a tenner (that bit hasn’t changed!).
Tennerfest is traditionally a 6 week long spell beginning at the start of October and running into November. It’s an excellent opportunity to enjoy the Island at a slightly slower pace than during the busier months of the years, and at a time when value is at its absolute best.
