Flight Schedule Updates

10 March Update

We are in the process of advising all of our clients of new flight details to reflect the new carrier (for those clients who were travelling with Flybe). In some instances this will include a slight schedule change, however please be assured that all efforts are being made to ensure that any schedule changes are as close to the original timings as possible. Almost without exception, all of those affected have been enormously understanding and this is hugely appreciated by our team, who are working long and hard at getting in touch with everyone. If you haven’t heard from us yet, you will, but as always, if you need to get in touch, don’t hesitate.

As of 05 March, Flybe is no longer operating and ends its service to the Channel Islands of almost 50 years, since it began serving Jersey and Guernsey as Jersey European. This is sad news not only for the Islands, but our thoughts go out to all of Flybe’s wonderful staff, with whom Channel Escapes has worked closely with over the years.

For the routes from Southampton, London City, Bristol and East Midlands to Jersey this means no change. These routes are served by Flybe’s franchise partner Blue Islands Airways, and they continue to fly as normal, with no changes to the travel from these airports.

The routes Birmingham and Exeter to both Jersey & Guernsey are largely being protected with departures from East Midlands and Bristol, although other alternatives are available to our clients.

This is an ongoing and evolving situation and our offices are fully staffed and acting quickly to ensure that all of our passengers are able to take their holidays as planned, with minimal disruption.
