Hotel De France is an impressively grand hotel in the French belle epoque style, with spacious public areas inside and a sweeping spiral staircase. It rises above St Helier, Jersey’s capital, offering an overview of the town as well as easy access to its boutique shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, along with museums and other sights. Nearby are the Jersey Museum, the Maritime Museum and Elizabeth Castle as well as the Georgian House museum at 16 New Street, beautifully restored to give an insight into Regency life on the island. Not too far away is the lovely beach and seafront of St Aubin’s Bay, which stretches all the way to the pretty harbour village of St Aubin.

Hotel De France has a real focus on luxury wellbeing with the outstanding Ayush Wellnesss Spa offering authentic Ayurvedic treatments, the state of the art Healthhaus health club and hydrotherapy suite. La Terrasse Restaurant & Bar uses local ingredients, combined with French cooking techniques, to create an exceptional dining experience. You can enjoy this in your choice of dining environment: the Palm Room is defined by its towering palm trees, the bistro-style area is where the extensive bar is located, but our favourite is the terrace, there’s a covered area as well as an open area, and sipping your favourite drink al-fresco watching a beautiful Jersey sunset is the ultimate Channel Islands experience.

St Helier is a great location from which to discover the rest of Jersey too. Travel up the east of the island to the picturesque bays at Gorey and Rozel, or inland to the famous Jersey Zoo or to La Hougue Bie, one of the ten oldest buildings in the world. There’s also the Jersey War Tunnels and, to the west, the beautiful beaches at St Brelade’s and Beauport as well as Corbière Lighthouse. The north is home to some wonderful rugged coastline, Plemont and Greve De Lecq are particularly lovely.

Due to restrictions imposed by Blue Islands, which operates Southampton, Bristol, Exeter, Norwich, East Midlands and Guernsey to Jersey, booking online is not possible within 15 days of departure for these routes. Please call 0203 955 5050 to book departures within this period.

Baggage information:

One piece of hand luggage (maximum size 45x36x20cm, including any handles or wheels, which must fit under the seat in front of you) per person is included for easyJet. No hold baggage is included.

For Blue Islands, hand luggage allowance per person includes one standard cabin bag measuring no more than 55x35x20cm, including wheels and handles, and one small personal item, such as a handbag or laptop bag/briefcase, which can fit under the seat in front of you. The combined weight of your cabin baggage and smaller personal item must not exceed 10kg. 1 x 23kg hold luggage is also included per passenger with Blue Islands.

Additional hold luggage can be added at the amount charged by the airline, after you receive your flight confirmation from us by email. Just respond to the email to arrange this.
