Nearby are the boutique shops, cafes, bars and restaurants of St Helier along with museums and other sights, right on the doorstep are the Jersey Museum, the Maritime Museum and Elizabeth Castle as well as the Georgian House museum at 16 New Street, beautifully restored to give an insight into Regency life on the island. Or why not stroll down to the beach at St Aubin’s Bay, in fact you can walk right along the sea front to the pretty harbour village of St Aubin in just over an hour.

There’s also the Jersey War Tunnels and, to the west, the beautiful beaches at St Brelade’s and Beauport as well as Corbière Lighthouse. The north is home to some wonderful rugged coastline, Plemont and Greve De Lecq are particularly lovely.
