The Duke of Normandie is a boutique hotel right in the heart of St Peter Port, Guernsey’s charming capital. Tucked away in its own little courtyard, the hotel is just round the corner from the High Street and only minutes from the picturesque marinas and seafront, not to mention Guernsey’s most fascinating museums. It’s also handy for some of the island’s best restaurants.
The hotel itself boasts its own gastro pub, the Pickled Pig. Popular with locals, and occupying the ground floor of the hotel, it’s an informal and relaxing place to enjoy hearty pub food, including local seafood, steaks, burgers, home-made pies and vegetarian dishes. There’s also a wide selection of beers and local ales, plus a carefully selected wine list to choose from. During the summer season, their beer garden is an ideal spot to make the most of the lovely warm Guernsey summer days and nights by enjoying a relaxing drink or a lazy lunch in the sun.
The Duke of Normandie Hotel is an excellent base to explore the island of Guernsey, from beautiful beaches, cliffside walks and country rambles, to historic buildings and museums like the German Occupation Museum, Guernsey Folk and Costume Museum, Castle Cornet or Hauteville House – the historic home of Victor Hugo.

With Aurigny, you are permitted 2 items of cabin baggage with a maximum combined weight of 10Kg. 1 piece with maximum dimensions of 55x36x20cm ** to fit in the overhead locker and 1 piece maximum 35x25x20cm to fit underneath the seat in front. **If you are asked to check the size of your bag in the gauge ALL parts (including wheels and handles) must fit comfortably inside without being forced. 1 hold bag of up to 20kg is also included.
With Blue Islands, hand luggage allowance per person includes one standard cabin bag measuring no more than 55x35x20cm, including wheels and handles, and one small personal item, such as a handbag or laptop bag/briefcase, which can fit under the seat in front of you. The combined weight of your cabin baggage and smaller personal item must not exceed 10kg. 1 x 23kg hold luggage is also included per passenger with Blue Islands.
